The Flying Pig

Tavern & Tap

How The Flying Pig took Flight

The Flying Pig Enterprise didn’t start with a grand plan — it started with a simple observation:

Something was missing.

Everywhere we looked, there were bars… and there were restaurants.
But very few places truly brought both together — a spot where you could get high-quality food, great drinks, a deep tap list, and an atmosphere you actually wanted to hang out in.

So we built it.

Our first location opened in Bordentown alongside Chef Vasilis, with a focus on doing things differently — elevated bar food, carefully curated taps, and an environment that felt just as good on a Tuesday night as it did on a packed Saturday.

People noticed.
And more importantly — they kept coming back.

Growing the Pig

With Bordentown proving the concept, we saw an opportunity just outside downtown Bethlehem — an area full of bars, but nothing that delivered on both quality and experience.

That became our second location.
And it took off.

Next came Limerick — attached to a diner that had been a staple in the community for over 20 years. The area needed a true bar destination, and we brought it — combining familiarity with something new and exciting.

Then Riverside.

An up-and-coming market, a younger crowd, and a different vision. This location, connected to The Madison catering hall, marked the evolution of The Flying Pig — a more elevated, event-driven concept that blended great food, great drinks, and a space designed for gatherings, celebrations, and experiences.

What We’re Building

Today, every Flying Pig location shares the same foundation:

  • High-quality, craveable food

  • A strong and ever-evolving tap program

  • An atmosphere built for people to stay, not just stop in

But no two locations are exactly the same.

We build each one around its community.

What’s Next

Now, we’re pushing the concept even further.

Blackwood, NJ is our next chapter — and it’s something entirely new.

This won’t just be a bar and restaurant.
It’s a full experience.

With a GM coming from a brewery background, an expanded tap program, and a focus on entertainment — including roller baller bowling, golf bays, darts, pool tables, live music, and more — Blackwood is designed to become a true community hub.

Right behind it, we’re bringing The Flying Pig to Bensalem — a rapidly growing area where demand for this kind of concept is already there.

The Vision

We’re not just opening restaurants.

We’re building a brand that adapts to its environment while staying rooted in what we do best:

  • In high-energy areas → we lean into social, vibrant atmospheres

  • In dense markets → we focus on speed, efficiency, and consistency

  • In emerging communities → we create destination hangout spots

And we’re just getting started.

The goal is simple:

To become America’s next great high-quality tavern and tap brand — one community at a time.
